Mosaics

When I get a chance to work on mosaics I fully enjoy creating them, one of the reasons I was drawn to doing them is because they remind me of my signature painting style. Here are some of the mosaics I have done. Doing mosaics gives me a tactile creative break from my paintings. I have always loved mosaics and had the honor years ago to be one of "the minions" that helped create the mosaic mural masterpiece that is at the EIA airport. I also played a role in doing the mosaic for the Highlands Community League. In the beginning of 2017 I designed, created and installed a 26 square foot mosaic pillar in my clients beautiful kitchen. My clients wanted it to be inspired by the famous spanish architect Gaudi that used ceramic mosaics in his designs. "Love Always"

Here is "Love Always" the mosaic that I created for a wedding gift for a skateboard enthusiast and his wife to commemorate their big day.
