Last month our beloved Snowbirds embarked on a cross country journey to inspire all Canadians. We were lucky to have seen them here in Edmonton before the terrible tragedy that took place in Kamloops. This painting was difficult to create as initially I wanted to paint it because of the joy that the Snowbirds were giving everyone during our long isolated time of covid 19. After the tragedy took place I was encouraged by many to still paint this piece and honour that special tour. So I am also dedicating this painting in memory of Captain Jenn Casey. I am donating a portion of the proceeds to the Edmonton Humane Society as Jenn's friend let me know that Jenn would have loved me to do that as she loved animals.  Captain Casey died doing what she loved, living her dream and inspired so many and she will not be forgotten. This original painting is acrylics on canvas 16”x16” and the original painting is now available. I have smaller 12x12 paper prints available for $40 and I will contact you when it is ready for pick up if you're choosing that option at checkout instead of standard delivery through Canada Post. And for something very special for this piece I’m also doing limited edition (of 50) on giclee canvases if you order a 16"x16" canvas (the same size as the original).  I will be hand painting irridescent white highlights on all sizes of the canvas giclee prints (like the original). All giclee canvas' sides will be mirrored around and they are stretched and wired and ready to hang on the wall.  The 12x12  paper prints will not be hand embellished. So there are many options and pricepoints available for this painting up to a 20"x20" size, click options to choose.  For custom framing enquiries, contact me directly and I will have to get quotes.
